| Recently, I've been feeling great sorrow. Myanmar was hit by a strong cyclone; Sichuan province in China was devastated by a big earthquake. Since these disasters, I have hardly been able to sleep at night. It's not because I was born in China myself, it's because I am a Buddhist monk. When I see, or hear the suffering of people¡Xregardless of their country, ethnic group, or religion¢wI feel as if I am suffering myself. I wish that everybody here can feel the same way. |
